I had the pleasure to see Lila Downs in concert just recently. She is a wonderful Latina vocalist who sings with such passion. I was inspired to paint her from that passion she reflected on her audience. I hope you enjoy.

"An Affair of the Art" St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Charity Event 2012

This year I have been honored to participate in such a worthy cause. Below is a 5 foot sculpture of a human heart. The sculpture was created by Miguel Rodriguez, a Las Vegas Artist. Myself and 11 other artists have painted on these magnificent sculptures and they will be mounted to a steel base, a plaque will be applied and the hearts will placed throughout the city of Las Vegas to help bring awareness to the public to help support such a great hospital as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Also, for 2012 I was welcomed as a committee member for St. Jude CRH Las Vegas Chapter to help out in the coordination and selection of our 2012 Artist project. I would like to thank the board members for having so much faith in me, it is a pleasure and an honor.
