My recent visit to Greece motivated me to conceive the earthy abstract, referred to as 'Gaia' (pronounced Yee ah or Yea ah), which is the Greek Goddess of the Earth. Ascending the Acropolis' slope elicits a surreal sensation that sparks creativity and allows one's thoughts to delve deep within.
This is a multi media abstract using cold wax, oil, oil stick marble dust and oil pastel.
Gessoed canvas mounted to cradled wood panel 48 x 48 inches
