I am definitely looking forward to the summer months, fresh fruits and veggies, outdoor affairs and activities are my favorite thing. 

While growing up summer was not complete without my mom carving into a large watermelon and handing us kids a big slice to enjoy outside.  The sticky juice would drip down our arms and mess up our clothes, I certainly didn't mind it, I was enjoying the summer days that were very short growing up in Detroit.  The lighthearted memories seem so important now.  I am thankful for all my silly memories.
