Spring Forward with a Smile!
Well, I just celebrated my birthday and I am starting my 60th year around the sun and I couldn't be happier. When people ask me "how long does it take to paint that?" I like to say it's taken me all my life to create that piece. It takes years of practice, thought, mistakes, love and dedication.

Farewell to 2018 and welcome 2019!

A new beginning is starting for me in Abstracts. I will still continue to do my figurative cubist-surreal work along with several different series of Abstracts.
You must always challenge yourself in life, it keeps you strong mentally and physically.

Welcome Fall: Cool weather, pumpkins, Halloween and my favorite Holiday Thanksgiving. I give thanks to all the people that support my art and the arts in general. Without vision and creativity we would be a very sad world stuck in the dark ages. I hope you enjoy my new series of Abstractions of Expressionism. They are something I have been wanting to do for a long time and finally I faced this new challenge to create art that is Free of structure but has a unique voice. September sure came fast this year. I hope that everyone had a fun and safe summer. My travels this year have inspired me so much that it felt as though there were not enough hours in the day for me to paint. I did manage to finish this last piece. I hope you enjoy the humor and whimsical style.

I have painted Nouna many times throughout the years, she is definitely my muse. Nouna in Greek means Godmother and I fondly remember my Godmother when I was a child. I affectionately paint my memory of Nouna. She was a lovely lady and someone I loved very much.

Greetings all! My recent trip to Belize for my daughter's wedding was truly an experience that allowed my imagination to travel as well.
The Painting is titled: Dreaming of Belize, I felt if there was a princess of the land she would resemble this painting. There was a raw beauty of the land and the turquoise sea was a treat to explore. The beautiful corals and aquatic life was abundant. I am looking forward to my return to the beautiful country of Belize.

Music definitely is the universal language of the world. Music has a way of getting people together in a harmonious way. I have recently travelled to Mexico City and San Miguel De Allende and even though my Spanish was limited I was able to enjoy the festive music that was a constant and beautiful sound. Passionate and Colorful music was evident throughout both cities. Please enjoy the Musician which will be available at the Reno Art Fest June 30th - July 1st in the Biggest Little City. The festival takes place on Virginia st. between 4th and 6th street.
